This month’s bulletin is packed with major retrogressions and urgent warnings as we near the end of the fiscal year, making this a critical update for your followers.
🚨 BREAKING: June 2026 Visa Bulletin Released — Urgent Warnings & Retrogression!
The Department of State has just released the June 2026 Visa Bulletin, and we are seeing the exact "retrogressions" (dates moving backward) they warned us about last month.
If you are waiting for an Employment-Based Green Card, please read these top-level updates carefully:
🛑 Massive Retrogression for India (EB-1 & EB-2)
Due to high demand, the Final Action Dates for India have been severely retrogressed to keep visa issuance within the annual limit:
EB-1 India: Moved backward to December 15, 2022.
EB-2 India: Moved backward to September 1, 2013.
Note: The government warned these categories may become completely "unavailable" later this summer.
🇵🇭 Urgent Warning for the Philippines (EB-3)
While the Final Action Date for Philippine EB-3 holds at August 1, 2023 for June, the State Department issued a direct warning: high demand means they will likely retrogress or freeze this category in the coming months. If you are an EB-3 applicant from the Philippines and your date is current, your time to act is now before the door closes.
👨👩👧 The Good News: F2A Keeps Moving!
For Spouses and Unmarried Minor Children of Permanent Residents, the F2A Final Action Date leaped forward again to January 1, 2025 (for most of the world, including the Philippines). Even better, the "Dates for Filing" chart remains CURRENT (C) across the board!
💡 The Bottom Line:
As we get closer to the end of the fiscal year (September), the government is slamming on the brakes. If your priority date is current today, do not assume it will be current next month.
