🚨 Heading to the U.S. for the FIFA World Cup 2026™? Don’t let a border delay sideline your trip! 🛑✈️
With over 5 million international fans heading to the matches, U.S. border and visa regulations are shifting rapidly. Here is what you need to know before you fly:
1️⃣ Got Tickets? Use FIFA PASS: If you bought tickets directly from FIFA and need a U.S. visa, you can opt into the Priority Appointment Scheduling System (PASS) to fast-track your embassy interview date.
2️⃣ Watch for Visa Bonds: Nationals from 50 designated countries applying for standard visitor visas might be required to post a refundable bond ($5k, $10k, or $15k). Crucial note: Bondholders MUST enter the U.S. via commercial airports only!
3️⃣ Meet COMPASS: CBP has launched a virtual assistant (askcompass.cbp.gov) to answer all your travel, ESTA, and customs questions on the go.
4️⃣ Pro Tip: Simply having a ticket doesn’t guarantee entry. Make sure you bring proof of your financial capacity and strong ties back home to clear your interview smoothly.
