Family law — I work with individuals and families, helping them meet the challenges of divorce and related issue
s, including child custody and property division. I believe that taking a measured, collaborative approach is often the best way to reach a fair and reasonable resolution. However, when litigation becomes necessary I am a tireless advocate for my clients. My goal is to put you and your family in the best possible position to succeed and move forward with happy, fulfilling lives. Estate planning and elder law — I help people plan for their futures and their families, drafting and executing estate plans that allow them to make important decisions in advance and enable them to have control over decisions that affect them in situations where they may be compromised. I also assist heirs and beneficiaries in matters of probate and estate administration, as well as guardianships and conservatorships. Pharmacy law — I am a registered pharmacist and prior to becoming a lawyer, I worked as a pharmacist. I also taught pharmacy law and ethics for 10 years as an adjunct professor at the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy. I maintain my license and bring an in-depth understanding of the field to legal matters facing pharmacists. I assist pharmacists with professional license defense and other issues that affect their careers.
