The Census Bureau released the numbers and they tell one story. 1.5% population growth between July 2024 and July 2025. 66,622 more people moved into the state than left it. Per capita, no other state in the country added more new residents.

The Grand Strand is a huge part of that story. Charleston, Greenville, and Myrtle Beach are the three names sitting on top of every relocation list.
