I love that we became friends from the internet. Somehow, unbelievably, we have another adult in the house. Happy birthday to the absolute joy of my life, Bauer. One of the most naturally talented, increasingly hardworking, empathetic person I have ever known. The one who always checks behind me when I tip to make sure I have been generous, the one who reminds me that the person I’m road raging over might be going through something hard, the one who calls and asks me if I need anything from the store on my way home, the one who is calling his grandmother to thank her for all the work she does behind the scenes to make a family vacation come together. It is an absolute privilege to be your mom. The person you have grown into has been hard won…so many heart to hearts, trying to make you believe in you the way we do. Hey friends! I want your opinion on another flip house design choice. In this property, the walls are all sheetrock, except going up the stairs. Would you keep this as is (but repaint), or pull it out? If you’d pull it out, would you replace with sheetrock? Or another option, like board and batten, shiplap/tongue and groove, beadboard? Please weigh in!
