👔 Happy Father's Day!

Being a dad is about so much more than having all the answers. It's about showing up, loving your family well, leading by example, and making the most of the little moments along the way.

As a husband, dad, and grandpa, I'm reminded every day that family is life's greatest blessing. The laughs, the traditions, the stories, and yes... even the legendary dad jokes are the memories that last a lifetime. 😄

To all the dads, grandpas, and father figures in our community, thank you for the love, wisdom, and example you share with those around you.

Before summer officially turns your driveway into a frying pan, here are your homeowner DOs and DON’Ts for the month. A few small tasks now can save you money, stress, and at least one “why is this making that noise?” moment later. 👀

Your June homeowner must-dos:

👍 Change your HVAC filters
Your AC has entered its busiest season. A fresh filter helps it breathe easier, run better, and keep your house from feeling like a baked potato.

👍 Clean your dishwasher filter & interior
Yes… your dishwasher needs a bath too. Food buildup slows things down and can leave your “clean” dishes looking suspicious. 😅

👍 Trim trees & shrubs away from the house
Overgrown branches can scrape your roof, damage siding, and give critters a VIP entrance straight into your attic.

Quick reminder on the DON’Ts:
👎 Don’t let branches scrape the roof
👎 Don’t let buildup slow down appliances

Memorial Day is a time to gather with family, enjoy the long weekend, and also take a moment to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. ❤️

As a veteran myself, this day has always carried a special meaning for me. It’s a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness of those who never made it home, and of the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.

Today, may we slow down just enough to reflect, be grateful for the freedoms we enjoy, and honor the heroes who made them possible.

Wishing you all a safe, meaningful Memorial Day.

Before summer shows up uninvited and refuses to leave, here are your DOs and DON’Ts to keep your home cool, comfortable, and bug-free. 👀

Your May homeowner must-dos:

👍 Service your air conditioner
Because nothing builds character like sweating indoors… but let’s not test that theory. Get it checked now and stay cool later.

👍 Inspect sprinkler & irrigation systems
Make sure your grass is getting the water… not your driveway, sidewalk, or your neighbor’s dog. 🐶

👍 Start pest control prevention
The bugs are back and apparently think your house is a vacation rental. Time to take that listing down.

Quick reminder on the DON’Ts:
👎 Don’t wait for the first 95° day (you will regret it)
👎 Don’t invite bugs to move in rent-free… they never leave
