University of Miami Moot Court Board We are a student-run, honorary organization that focuses on recruiting and training the finest oral and written advocates in the country. Gaubatz Competition.

As the oldest, largest, and most prestigious advocacy program at UM Law, the Board extends new membership invitations to the top 25 advocates in the second-year class, determined solely by performance in the annual John T. The Board also extends invitations to exceptional members of the third-year class competing in the Gaubatz Competition on a case-by-case basis. With the support of the Universit

y of Miami School of Law, as well as local and national alumni, the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board will continue to encourage excellence in oral and written advocacy on campus and around the nation. Registration for the 2017 John T. Gaubatz Competition is no open! Please go to https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdrxojjBwR_6Z-EHWehPy_QiB1G4kVoooWCXkvDk6FbGb2yWw/viewform to register. The deadline to register is August 17, 2017, by 5:00pm EST. The competition will be held on October 14-15, culminating in a public final round on October 17, 2017.

Amber is a proud double Cane. She graduated from the University of Miami in 2014 from Broadcast Journalism and is graduating from the law school this semester. During her time at the law school, Amber served as President to HLSA and Managing Editor to the Inter-American Law Review. She also is a member of CABA, Bar & Gavel Honor Society, the Trial Team, and the Moot Court Board. Amber is an incredible advocate and leader, we are so proud of her and her achievements.
