Geary Law is pleased to welcome Miranda Greathouse as our 2026 Summer Associate.

Miranda recently completed her second year of law school at University of Tulsa College of Law and is a visiting student at Texas Tech University School of Law this summer.

She has a strong interest in appellate law and previously served as Texas Tech University's Undergraduate Student Body Vice President.

With deep West Texas roots and family connections throughout the region, Miranda is excited to be returning to Lubbock and gaining hands-on experience in complex litigation and appellate advocacy.

We are glad to have her on our team this summer and look forward to the contributions she will make.

The Texas Young Lawyers Association State Moot Court Competition is about much more than winning. It gives law students the opportunity to develop the research, writing, advocacy, and critical thinking skills they will carry into their future careers.

The students who advance through the competition will ultimately argue before the Texas Supreme Court in the final round, which is a remarkable opportunity for aspiring advocates.

I am grateful for the chance to serve the State Bar of Texas in this role and to contribute, in a small way, to the development of future lawyers.

Best of luck to all of the competitors as they prepare to compete this week. I look forward to seeing the hard work and talent they bring to the competition.
