Owner Scott Miller and Managing Attorney Aaron Ann Cole presented on critical incidents, sharing practical insight and experience with law enforcement professionals from across the region. We always appreciate opportunities like this to share knowledge and contribute to ongoing education within the law enforcement community.

We’re proud to recognize L.S. Miller Law attorney Lara Gill and her involvement in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Tennessee.

Lara serves as the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Tennessee Liaison for the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR), a fundraising and awareness movement supporting Special Olympics. Through the Torch Run, law enforcement officers proudly serve as “Guardians of the Flame,” raising funds and awareness for athletes with intellectual disabilities.

Recently, Lara attended the Area 15 Blount County Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Tennessee, standing alongside dedicated leaders who share a passion for service beyond the badge. Pictured with Lara is Stacey Wood Heatherly, retired Major of the Tennessee Highway Patrol and now Director of Special Olympics Tennessee, whose leadership continues to make a lasting impact across the state.

Attorneys Scott Miller and Tyler Chelf recently attended the Fraternal Order of Police ("FOP") Legal Counselors Seminar at the Pathways to Excellence Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It was a great opportunity to connect with colleagues and stay up to date on the issues impacting law enforcement. Our attorneys gained insight that will continue to inform and strengthen our advocacy for the officers we represent every day.
