Charles Cole visited the Kentucky Association of Chiefs of Police annual conference on Wednesday to connect with chiefs from across the Commonwealth. Sturgill Turner is pleased to support this year’s 54th annual conference, hosted by University of Kentucky Police Department Chief Joe Monroe.

With 20 years of experience handling police-related legal matters, including litigating Kentucky’s Police Officer Bill of Rights before the Kentucky Supreme Court, Charley welcomed the opportunity to hear from local leaders and stay engaged with the public safety issues affecting Kentucky communities. Hope everyone enjoyed their time here in Lexington!

Meet our 2026 summer associates! Kennedy Klucker, Max Walker, and Katy Walsh have spent the summer growing with Sturgill Turner, exploring different practice areas, and contributing to the work we do for clients. All three are rising 3Ls: Kennedy at the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, Max at the University of Tennessee Winston College of Law, and Katy at William & Mary Law School. We’re grateful for their curiosity, hard work, and enthusiasm, and we’re excited to see all they’ll accomplish in the legal profession.

We’re delighted to share that Sturgill Turner attorney Kevin G. Henry has received the 2026 Henry T. Duncan Award, the highest honor of the Fayette County Bar Association, presented at FCBA Law Day on May 5 by Sturgill Turner member and FCBA Board Treasurer Andy Yocum.

This special recognition celebrates Kevin’s 46 years of exceptional legal advocacy, leadership, and service to the profession and the community. True to form, Kevin used the moment to express his gratitude for his wife, his firm colleagues, and the mentors who guided him throughout his career.
