Some may not know that I have been doing criminal law since 1985. One of the hardest types of case to defend is a DUI charge. Sometimes with careful investigation, a case can be properly defended. I am glad to report that I have successfully defended such a case.

If anyone would wish to consult with me concerning a DUI charge, I am available.

If I take the case, the cost in Fayette County is $500 to enter my appearance and to investigate the matter. If after investigating the matter, Jury trial seems warranted, I charge an additional $1,500.

There are new rules in worker’s’ compensation that pay off-work benefits to people who have been sent home due to exposure to Covid 19 at work whether she becomes symptomatic or not.

There are many compensation issues for those exposed that should be explored. If someone is too sick to do so give them a hand by calling for them.

I have recently been notified by Martindale-Hubble that my fellow lawyers have rated me as an “AV” lawyer. This is the highest rating given. When I was a new lawyer, it was considered a big deal but that was when we bought books. I had not thought to check this previously. Regardless, thanks to the lawyers who rated me as being a good lawyer.

Just because the employer paid for your medical bills and wages until you went back to work,you still need to settle your case so you can get future care and wages should the condition worsen. That's why you should have a lawyer review the matter.

The Supreme Court has removed the cap on benefits when a worker reaches Social Security retirement age. All my older workers need to check with me to see if they're entitled to further benefits.
