We just have to brag about our friend Abrielle Woolery, the director of LCSC’s KinderCollege, and LCSC in general. Lewis Clark State College is such a terrific institution. The grounds are pristine, the buildings are beautiful and the education is rooted in reality (and affordable!)….The Week of the Young Child’s grand finale, a kid-centric block party held today was a smashing success and reminded us all to celebrate the tiniest members of our society and the wonderful women and men who dedicate their lives to educating this important age group. Spiderwoman Josephine Druffel had a wonderful time. LCSC and the KinderCollege is an asset to our community that we are proud to support. Go Warriors!

Yesterday we had a visitor who did NOT make an appointment. Special thanks to my parking lot neighbor, Sarah Zenner and her team at Prairie Home Care, who made lots of calls and watched over her all day. Then a huge shout out to Idaho Animal Rescue Network & Jenna who worked her usual magic connecting with Palouse Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation who picked her up right away. We are told she had a broken wing and was seen at WSU last night. Parking lots are no place for wild poultry, I’m sure she is now well on her way to recovery. ❤️‍🩹

“Filing a Chapter 7 bankruptcy with Tecla and her team allowed me the ‘release’ of my financial past. I have never been wise with my money and made a lot of mistakes when I was younger. Unfortunately, those ‘mistakes’ followed me into my adulthood. I was constantly having anxiety just over my phone ringing because it almost always was a collection office demanding to be paid. Every time I checked the mail, there was a new collection agency trying to get me to pay, but I just didn’t have the money to pay my debts. I was making just enough to cover most of my bills, but not any extra. It was causing major disruption in my life. Since I filed bankruptcy, I don’t receive those dreaded phone calls and I don’t squirm at just checking my mail. In my Chapter 7 bankruptcy, I was able to keep my car, most of my tax refunds and everything in my home that I own. I was able to have a more positive relationship with money and be able to understand how to budget better. I truly believe that bankruptcy ‘saved’ my financial future.
