McFarland Law Offices, LLC will be closing "in name", a new firm will be formed with Joanna's current Associate attorneys. This change will take affect October 1, 2024.

There are more changes coming, and we will post details as soon as they are settled.

For now, please stay in contact with our office, and attend all of your court obligations.

Joanna McFarland, a public defense attorney since 2005, has been hired for the new position of district public defender in Idaho’s 2nd Judicial District, it was announced Wednesday.

Congratulations to Joanna and McFarland Law Offices, LLC!
Joanna has been an attorney for 15 years. Over the years several attorneys, legal assistants, social workers, Law Student Interns and even a PI have called McFarland Law Offices, LLC home.

Today MLO celebrates a benchmark, our 12,000th case in our home county of Nez Perce. Joanna has held many Public Defense contracts out of many counties over the years, and that combined case total, I would approximate is closer to 15,000.
