How many of you know/knew the history of Columbia, Maryland and origin of the “villiage” concept????
It and the eclectic group of people who reside there has always intrigued me. I have been a next door neighbor to Columbia (Laurel, MD) the majority of my life, and have had the opportunity to watch it evolve over the past 3 decades. Even though Columbia has never been a city I have desired to reside and/or raise my family in, even I am quite surprised by the sharp turn taking place developmentally. But as a REALTOR, I am not at all surprised.
