We’re always grateful to help our clients reach the finish line. To see the relief on their faces when a long, stressful chapter finally comes to an end.... but sometimes what surprises us most is when they’re a little sad to leave.

What started as a difficult situation turned into deep trust, hard conversations, heartfelt prayers, strategy sessions, and eventually a shared victory. By the end, they’re no longer “just a case.” They’re part of our Fussell & Colligan story and we’re part of theirs.

Helping people through hard seasons has a way of turning clients into friends… and sometimes even family.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Lucas S. Colligan secured a $2.5 million settlement on behalf of a Jones Act seaman last week. What makes this moment special isn't the result itself, but the journey that led here.

Over the last several years, this client and his family have become more than just a case to us. At Fussell & Colligan, we believe the people who trust us with their stories become part of our family, and we've walked beside them through the challenges, uncertainties, and hardships that followed this life changing injury.

Today, our hearts are full knowing that this settlement will help provide security and opportunity for a young family that means so much to us. While no amount of money can erase what they've been through, we're grateful to have played a role in helping them move forward with confidence and hope for the future.
