Last week, we were honored to serve as the presenting sponsor of the 2026 MADD Louisiana Law Enforcement Recognition Luncheon in Gonzales, where officers and agencies from across Louisiana were recognized for their efforts to keep our roads and communities safe.
Since 1980, MADD has helped reduce drunk driving deaths in America by approximately 51% and has helped save nearly 500,000 lives. Yet the work is far from over. Here in Louisiana, 34% of all traffic fatalities in 2024 involved an alcohol-impaired driver.
That statistic is a sobering reminder of why this mission matters.
We were also proud to announce that our firm is the first member of MADD's Lawyer Resource Network in the United States, an initiative designed to connect victims and survivors of impaired driving crashes with legal professionals committed to helping them pursue justice and move forward.
For more than 20 years, we have represented Louisiana families whose lives were forever changed by impaired driving. We have seen the devastation these crashes can cause, and we have also seen the difference that strong law enforcement, advocacy, education, and accountability can make.
Here in Louisiana, we are committed to being part of the change.
Thank you to MADD for its leadership, and congratulations to all of the officers and agencies recognized this year. Your work saves lives every day.
