We traded our desks for bowling lanes at our quarterly team gathering, spending the afternoon catching up, sharing a few laughs and enjoying some friendly competition. 🎳

One of the best moments came before the bowling even started, when one of our own treated everyone to a beautiful rendition of the national anthem.

We always enjoy the opportunity to bring our team together, strengthen friendships and celebrate the people who make our firm such a great place to work.💙

Blake David and Jerome Moroux enjoyed spending time with friends and colleagues at the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Admiralty Law Symposium, where they presented a maritime law CLE and Blake served as co-chair of the program.

Thank you to the LSBA for the opportunity to share what we’ve learned through our work and connect with fellow attorneys from across the state. We’re grateful to have been included in such a valuable program and appreciate everyone who helped make it possible.

This summer, our community helped raise $25,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana.

Through the Make Every Summer Moment Matter campaign, we matched every donation dollar for dollar to support the programs, resources and safe spaces local children rely on throughout the summer.

Happy anniversary to three people who make this firm what it is.

Jerome Moroux has been at the firm since 2010. His practice focuses on representing people in high-stakes offshore and admiralty litigation. Of note, he was recently named lead claimants' counsel on one of the largest maritime casualties in the Gulf of Mexico--a case that demands a lawyer who can be trusted when everything is on the line.

Megan Hebert, paralegal, nine years in, knows every deadline before anyone has to ask. And Caroline Hidalgo, attorney, joined us a year ago and already carries herself like she has been here for nine.

Exciting news for Acadiana and for Louisiana music. 🎶

We’re proud to share that partner Richard Broussard has been named a co-chair of the Louisiana Music Museum capital campaign for the Acadiana Center for the Arts. Richard will join Carolyn Doerle Schumacher and David Strother in leading the effort to raise $10 million for the museum’s future home in downtown Lafayette.

It’s an exciting project for our community, and we’re proud to see Richard helping bring it to life.

A summer of reading and a brand-new set of wheels 📚🚲

Congratulations to Adeline, the fifth-grade winner of a new bike through Lafayette Public Library Children’s Summer Reading Challenge.

Adeline completed the challenge by reading at least 20 minutes a day for 30 days, earning her entry into the bike drawing. We loved getting to celebrate her accomplishment and present her with her new ride.
