𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻.

Last Friday, we were proud to join Hallmark Cards as a presenting sponsor of 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀, an inspiring evening benefiting 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝘀. More than 100 pieces of artwork—each created from donated musical instruments that had reached the end of their playing life—were auctioned to help create new beginnings for young musicians.

The proceeds will help send aspiring students to band camp and repair donated instruments so they can find their way into the hands of the next generation of musicians.

Edelman & Thompson supports numerous organizations that invest in our community's future. We believe strong communities are built by people who are willing to give back, and we're honored to support that mission.

This cause is especially meaningful to our firm because attorney Carl Mueller and his wife, Jill, have volunteered with Band of Angels since its founding nearly 15 years ago. Jill has served on the organization’s board, and the couple co-chaired this year’s annual Heart Strings Gala, where our firm was the presenting sponsor.

Congratulations to everyone who donated, volunteered, created artwork, placed bids, and made the evening such a success. We're grateful to have been part of an event that proves even instruments that can no longer be played can still inspire the next generation.

Valentine's Day evening, Edelman & Thompson was honored to serve as the first-ever Diamond Presenting Sponsor of the Heartstrings Gala benefiting 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐬 to mark the organization's 15th year.

The evening featured performances by 16 remarkable young musicians — representing hundreds of students who, each year, free, refurbished instruments, as well as band camp scholarships. Their talent was matched by confidence and stage presence, sharpened through recent performance training from the female saxophonist who performs with Beyoncé.

It was, as promised; 𝘼 𝙉𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧. 𝘼 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚.

𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞'𝐬 𝐏𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐀𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞?

Edelman & Thompson was privileged to support 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐒𝐏𝐂𝐀’s “Puppygrams” fundraiser, where we spent time with several of their adoptable pets at Mill Creek Park, just outside our office.

Safe to say, it’s unclear who left the park happier — the puppies or our attorneys and staff.
