Well… school started two weeks ago, so naturally I’m posting their first-day pictures today. 😂🤦‍♀️ Better late than never, right?

2013 ➡️ 2026 ❤️

Thirteen years of first-day pictures, and I’m not sure how we got from those tiny little boys with backpacks almost as big as they were… to THIS.

Year after year. Same boys. Bigger shoes. Bigger backpacks. Bigger dreams. And somehow Mom got a little worse at posting the pictures on time. 😂

I look at these photos and see so much more than the first day of school. I see brothers growing up side by side. I see the little boys they were and the young men they’re becoming.

Andrew & Luke — I hope you always dream big, stay true to who you are, love each other fiercely, and know that Mom will forever be your biggest fan. ❤️

Here’s to another school year… even if Mom is two weeks late documenting it. 😂

Channeling my inner Laura Ingalls today… 😂🏡

When your home tour suddenly feels like you’ve stepped onto the set of Little House on the Prairie! 🌾

Real log walls ✔️
Soaring wood-beamed ceilings ✔️
Wide-plank wood floors ✔️
Views of the countryside ✔️
And enough natural wood to make Laura Ingalls feel right at home. 😂

But in all seriousness, unique homes like this are exactly why I love real estate. Every property has its own personality, construction style and story—and when you’re buying something outside the traditional cookie-cutter home, there are different things we need to pay attention to.

I may have been looking for Pa Ingalls around the corner, but I was still looking at the windows, logs, flooring, mechanicals and overall condition. 😉🔎

Dinner isn’t really a time during sports season… it’s more of a window of opportunity. 🤣

🏈 Practice at 5:30? Eat at 4:30.
🏀 Game at 7:00? Dinner at 9:30.
🚗 And sometimes dinner is whatever can be eaten in the car between one kid’s practice and the other kid’s game.

Wouldn’t trade the chaos, the late nights, the bleachers, or these memories for anything. 💙

Sports parents… please tell me we aren’t the only family eating dinner at 9:30 PM! 😂
