🔵ESPAÑOL🔵 ¡¡¡LA SUSPENSIÓN DE LOS 39 PAÍSES (inicialmente la suspensión de 19 países) HA SIDO ANULADA POR EL JUEZ FEDERAL DEL CASO DORCAS CONTRA USCIS EN MASSACHUSETTS PARA TODOS!!!

⏺️Cada una de las políticas impugnadas ha sido declarada ilegal y, por la presente, quedan ANULADAS y DEJADAS SIN EFECTO.

Esto significa que, si eres de un país que estaba en esas listas y tienes una solicitud I-589, I-485, I-90, I-751 o una I-765 basada en uno de estos beneficios pendiente, USCIS DEBE procesar tu caso sin más demoras.

🔵ESPAÑOL🔵La Asociación Americana de Abogados (ABA) está a punto de eliminar una regla que exige que las facultades de derecho se preocupen por la diversidad.

Durante décadas, las facultades de derecho tenían que demostrar que intentaban reclutar y admitir estudiantes de diferentes razas y orígenes. Esa regla ayudó a que más mujeres y minorías se volvieran abogados. Pero ahora, bajo la presión del presidente Trump y los estados gobernados por republicanos, la ABA ha votado para eliminarla.

La decisión final podría tardar hasta 2027, pero el mensaje es claro: los requisitos de diversidad están siendo eliminados.

🔵ENGLISH🔵The American Bar Association (ABA) is about to remove a rule that requires law schools to care about diversity.

For decades, law schools had to show they were trying to recruit and admit students of different races and backgrounds. That rule helped more women and minorities become lawyers. But now, under pressure from President Trump and Republican states, the ABA has voted to eliminate it.

The final decision could take until 2027, but the message is clear: diversity requirements are being taken away.

🔵ESPAÑOL🔵Estados Unidos prohibió temporalmente la entrada a Residentes Estadounidenses d que hayan estado en la República Democrática del Congo, Uganda o Sudán del Sur en los últimos 21 días, debido a preocupaciones por el virus del ébola.

Los ciudadanos estadounidenses siguen exentos. Los CDC emitieron la orden bajo el Título 42, una ley de salud pública que permite al gobierno bloquear la entrada para detener enfermedades contagiosas. La Organización Mundial de la Salud elevó el riesgo de la rara cepa Bundibugyo del ébola a "muy alto" y declaró una emergencia internacional en las regiones afectadas.

U.S. citizens and nationals remain exempt. The CDC issued the order under Title 42, a public health law that allows the government to block entry to stop contagious diseases. The World Health Organization has raised the risk of the rare Bundibugyo Ebola strain to "very high" and declared an international emergency in the affected regions.

🎉🇺🇸 ESPAÑOL 🇺🇸🎉 Ayúdanos a felicitar a Adriana, nuestra nueva Residente Permanentes Legal de la oficina! Nacida en 🇲🇽 México 🇲🇽, su viaje migratorio comenzó en los EE. UU hace exactamente 20 años este mes. Tras arduo trabajo y esfuerzo, ¡por fin tiene su Green Card en mano!

Adriana fue la primera clienta oficial de Reyes Legal en junio de 2014, cuando primero abrimos las puertas. Desde entonces, hemos compartido muchos logros y desafíos, así como momentos especiales de su vida, incluyendo sus embarazos y los bautizos y cumpleaños de sus hijos.

Su historia demuestra que la resiliencia y la paciencia valen la pena cuando se cuenta con una red de apoyo sólida y una asesoría legal que realmente se preocupa por el bienestar y el futuro de sus clientes y sus familias. 🎉🇺🇸 ENGLISH 🇺🇸🎉 Help us congratulate Adriana, our office's newest Legal Permanent Resident! Born in 🇲🇽 Mexico 🇲🇽, her immigration journey began in the U.S. exactly 20 years ago this month. After years of hard work and effort, she finally holds her Green Card in hand!

Adriana was Reyes Legal's very first official client in June 2014, when the firm first opened its doors. Since then, we have shared many triumphs, challenges, and milestones together, including her pregnancies and her children's baptisms and birthdays.
