GenConnect, INFB’s newest youth leadership program, kicked off its first session last week, focusing on building a personal message and brand that participants can use to advocate in person, online and on screen. The afternoon also included a tour of Tuttle’s Orchard, where the group learned more about local agriculture in Hancock County.

Over the next six months, the high school student and seasoned INFB member pairs will explore the foundations of agricultural success, work ethic, stewardship and community engagement. We can’t wait to see what this group accomplishes! 🧩

Over the weekend, Young Farmers and Ag Professionals from across Indiana came together for the YF&AP’s June events.

The weekend began with a training session highlighting how Indiana Farm Bureau gathers county policy priorities and transforms them into state and national policy positions. On Saturday, members and their families traveled to Fair Oaks Farm for farm tours, hands-on learning opportunities and, of course, an ice cream social.
