This one is a little overdue, but the purpose behind it is right on time. 💜

I hadn’t had the chance to spend Mother’s Day with my mom in over five years. This year, we finally broke that streak and attended a beautiful Mother’s Day brunch surrounded by over 120 Black women of all ages celebrating one another.

The wisdom, love, laughter, and sense of community in that room were truly breathtaking. Being able to experience it with my mom made it even more special. 💜

And now that beautiful moment has come full circle.

The Industry Attorney has partnered with Parenting With A Purpose to help support scholarship opportunities for students for the 2027 school year and beyond. 🎓

Our next fundraiser is Friday, August 14, with New Orleans-style lunch plates for $20. ⚜️🍽️ Preorders only, with delivery available for orders of 5 or more.

So yes, these Mother’s Day pictures may be a little late 😂, but the opportunity to support the mission is right on time.

Good food. Great purpose. Stronger futures. 💜

Before the headlines, fear, and what-ifs, there was a little girl who just wanted to dance, dream, and be herself.

She didn’t know about wars or endings—only what made her feel alive. When the world feels like it’s falling apart, our quiet revolution is to live as her again: wear what lights you up, call who knows your heart, work on the dream that still scares you, love like there’s a future.

If everything ended tomorrow, wouldn’t you want to go out as *you*, not the version the world edited and silenced? Here’s to the little girl in all of us—may we finally live a life that makes her proud.

This photo was sitting quietly in a shared album with my team, and when it popped up on my phone, I had to share it - I didn’t even know they caught this moment and it made my heart smile.

This is what leadership looks like when the cameras are off: hands held, stories heard, hearts lifted. It’s not about clout, it’s about impact.

Every small move matters — showing extra love to your bus driver, tipping your delivery driver, choosing the small local restaurant, buying from the neighborhood business, checking in on the elder next door. That’s how we build a safer, stronger community: one generous act, one person, one block at a time.

Now is the time to make a move. In 2026, I’m opening my doors to the clients, families, and businesses who are ready to protect what matters and pour back into our communities. If you’re ready to do the work — in life, in business, and in justice — my team and I are ready to stand with you.

First post of 2026, same mission, louder voice. While the feed was quiet, the work was not. Every meeting, every late night, every tough call has been in service of **justice** and our communities.

This Black History Month, I’m reminded that our legacy isn’t about clout or cameras. It’s about who we protect, what we build, and how fiercely we stand up for each other when no one is watching.

Now is the time to make a move. Every single one of us has a role: go out and vote, support your local Black and brown businesses, show up for your neighbor, and put ego and differences to the side so our community can truly live and not just survive.

I’m not asking for spectators, I’m calling for leaders. Here’s to Black history, Black futures, and Black professionals making moves behind the scenes and in plain sight. Happy Black History Month. 🖤
