Sharing again as the Block Party is this week!!! As a friendly reminder the fireworks have been cancelled out of abundance of caution due to our recent burn ban. The event will still have plenty of other FUN!!! Live concert, food trucks, vendors, and more!!!!! We can’t wait to see you there!

IMPORTANT BLOCK PARTY UPDATE‼ 🎶🎸

Out of abundance of caution regarding the recent burn ban in Nassau County, and out of protection for our community, we will no longer have fireworks at the Nassau County Block Party on June 5th. We understand how disappointing this may be for some, however, the safety and wellbeing of our community remains top priority.

GOOD NEWS - The show will go on!! There will still be vendors, food trucks, a LIVE concert featuring Restore The Broken and a special surprise with our friends from Dreams Come True of Jacksonville, Inc. 💕

This will still be a night full of fun, laughter, good food, and celebration in preparation for our 5th Annual Health and Safety Expo on June 6th at the YMCA at Wildlight!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️

Who We Play For is excited to be the provider for the FREE sports EKGs at the 5th Annual Health and Safety Expo!! To clarify for those pre-registered, there is NO appointment time for the EKGs OR Sports Physicals with UF Health Jacksonville. The Sports Physicals are first come first serve.

If you completed the EKG link for Who We Play For you can show up to receive your free EKG anytime between 10-2pm. If you are not pre-registered for an EKG, that is OK!! Walk-ins are accepted and encouraged, however, a parent/guardian must be present with the child in order to be screened.

Beginning in the 2026 school year, all high school athletes will be required to have an EKG screening. Mark your calendars for the 5th Annual Health and Safety Expo, where you can receive your sports physical AND EKG for FREE!!!
We are so thankful to UF Health Jacksonville and Who We Play For for providing these screenings at no cost to our community.
The 5th Annual Health and Safety Expo will be held on June 6th from 10am - 2pm held at the First Coast YMCA. There will also be FREE hearing screenings and orthodontic screenings as well! We cannot wait to see you there.
