Contracts, closings, and the constant hustle… That’s the side of real estate you see. But there’s a quieter side of me that rarely makes it onto my business social media.

Like many people, I have a life outside of work. 💛

When I’m not helping clients buy or sell homes, you’ll likely find me spending time with my son or out with Grace, my Dutch Warmblood horse🐎. There’s something about being at the barn that slows everything down. Just fresh air, quiet moments, and a reminder of what really matters in life.

🏡 Congratulations to my buyers on finding the perfect home for their family!

This closing is especially meaningful because it’s the result of nearly three years of working together. Along the way, we had another home under contract, but after careful consideration, it became clear it wasn’t the right fit, so we made the difficult decision to walk away.

🏡 Who’s building the most homes in America?

The latest Builder 100 rankings are out, and the numbers are impressive. D.R. Horton and Lennar continue to lead the nation, each closing more than 80,000 homes in 2025, while builders like PulteGroup, NVR, Meritage Homes, and Toll Brothers round out the Top 10.

What makes this especially interesting for Northwest Arkansas is that D.R. Horton and Lennar are already active in our market. As NWA continues to experience strong population growth and economic expansion, I predict we’ll see even more large national builders entering the area to help meet increasing housing demand.

One example is Toll Brothers. Earlier this year, the luxury builder entered the Northwest Arkansas market through its acquisition of Buffington Homes and related land holdings valued at more than $111 million. The move reflects the growing national attention Northwest Arkansas is receiving from some of the country’s largest homebuilders.

As inventory continues to grow in many markets, homebuilders remain a major force in helping meet housing demand across the country. Keeping an eye on these industry leaders can provide valuable insight into what may be coming next for our local housing market.
