Things you should be ghosting this season:
Comparison.
Pressure.
People pleasing.
The fear of starting over.
Because at some point, you have to ask yourself how much of your life you’re spending trying to keep up with a version of success you didn’t even choose.
You’re comparing your behind-the-scenes to someone else’s highlight reel. You’re putting pressure on yourself to have it all figured out. You’re saying yes when every part of you wants to say no. And you’re staying in places you’ve outgrown because starting over feels a whole lot scarier than staying uncomfortable.
But what if this season isn’t about doing more, proving more, or becoming more?
What if it’s about finally being honest with yourself?
About what you actually want. What you have the capacity for. What makes you happy. What you’ve been tolerating simply because disappointing someone else feels worse than disappointing yourself.
You can be grateful for where you’ve been and still want something different.
You can love people and still have boundaries.
You can be really freaking good at something and still decide it’s not what you want anymore.
And you can start over at 25, 35, 45, or 65 without having to explain yourself to a single person.
Not every ending is a failure. Not every uncomfortable decision is a mistake. And not everyone needs to understand the choices you’re making for your own life.
Maybe the scariest thing you do this season is stop abandoning yourself just to keep everyone else comfortable.
Let them wonder. Let them have opinions. Let them do things differently.
You’ve got a life to live, and it’s yours.
Consider this your permission slip to ghost the things that keep you from actually enjoying it! 👻
