This mountain is moving, I fix my eyes on You, If You said it, You'll do it! The Longoria/Rascon family was at the epicenter of what ICE/CBP were testing, "unlimited" reign in the streets of the Inland Empire and Southern Californian the started last summer. Agents really thought families would be so disempowered to say anything. They were very wrong. We were asked to step in by this beautiful family and every step of the way we will be- from sharing in the trauma, to wrongful incarceration of Dad, to his freedom from ICE custody, and the telling of their story to effectuate national changes. I personally move with Faith that Christ is leading my path and opening doors. In September I was called to intervene in a raid in SoCal, I supported a mother and child alongside a heaven sent volunteer and a non profit. Finally mother and child were reunited and free! In November, in the Inland Empire a father was ripped from his boys, we fought the fight and he as ordered immediate release from ICE custody. What a pesky thing the constitution, I sat next to the portrait wearing my Huipil (Oaxaca), a Latina lawyer representing the 2%, and as mother of 3 purpose faith led children. Del Pueblo
