Arguments that the wealthiest taxpayers will flee if a graduated income tax is enacted just don't hold water, according to this piece from the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.

Colorado is among several states contemplating a graduated income tax in the wake of a federal megabill that paired food assistance and health care cuts with huge tax breaks for the wealthy.
