For our friends in Danville, the Salvation Army is such a valuable local resource in many ways, particularly if you need a hot meal today!

We will be serving a free hot meal for the community today from 4:00pm-6:00pm at our location in Danville. (515 South 4th Street) We will also have our mobile canteen roaming different neighborhoods to feed as well. If you are in need of a meal and cannot get out, please comment on this post or text 270-903-4729.

Who donated every meal!!
What a blessing it is that they have leaders in their organizations that are teaching them the importance of giving back to their community!
There are so many in our community in need not only homeless, but single parents, the elderly! We have given away coat after coat after coat today! We have given away blankets and hats and gloves! We gave away a tent and a sleeping bag ! The only reason we are able to do this is the generosity of the citizens of Marion County! I believe in the goodness of people and I know that people want to help and all you have to do is show them how! Today is an example of that.!
The tote outside is full for anyone who needs blankets coats, hats, gloves, socks!
I love you all so much and thank you for being “simply the best “part of our community.
