Summer Reading 2024 “Adventure Begins at Your Library” kicks off with a party on Wednesday, May 29!

Bouncy House. Inflatable Wrecking Ball & Hungry Hungry Hippo games. Axe Throwing. Inflatable Kick Darts. Arcade Basketball. Music. Free book bags. We have it all! The Library will remain open during the event to sign up for a card and check out materials.

Pick up your calendar for events for toddlers, kids, tweens, teens, and adults, going on all summer long! Join our reading challenge on Beanstack (boylepublib.beanstack.org) to earn free books and tickets to enter grand prize drawings!

Summer Reading is for kids, tweens, teens, and adults. As always, ALL programs are FREE to attend.

Congratulations to Danville Montessori School graduates Walt Hurley, Henry Pennington, and Bo Little on their acceptance to the 2024 Kentucky Governor’s Scholars Program! Pictured below in our upper elementary class, these young men are now juniors at Danville and Boyle County High Schools.

According to the GSP website, “The Governor’s Scholars Program is a summer residential program for outstanding high school students in Kentucky who are rising seniors. The Program originated in 1983 as a result of Kentucky leaders’ concern that the state’s “best and brightest” were leaving the Commonwealth to pursue educational and career opportunities elsewhere without fully understanding the potential of their talents at home.”
