I’m proud to announce the launch of Guardia Law.
I chose the name Guardia (“guardian” in Spanish) because that’s how I see this work. My father served in the elite Honduran Presidential Honor Guard ("La Guardia de Honor Presidencial") in the 1960s. He faced real dangers in an era of unrest, and his courage shaped my view of what it means to protect others.
That same spirit drives me. After years of building and scaling other firms to massive growth and success, I’m creating something I can pass down to my sons as part of their family legacy.
This moment is personal. My parents came to this country from Honduras with no education, money, or English. I grew up watching them struggle, and I see how working-class families — especially in our Hispanic and immigrant communities — are still undervalued, underrepresented, and treated like disposable labor.
I’ve seen firsthand what happens when people don’t know their rights, don’t know the language, and don’t have someone to fight for them. They’re left to stand alone. Folks going through an injury or accident don’t deserve that.
Now, as my wife and I prepare to welcome our son into the world next week, I want him to know the legacy I’m building for him is rooted in protection, trust, and fighting for people when they need it most.
Guardia Law will be a modern, bilingual personal injury firm serving the hardworking families of Dallas. We’ll measure success not by volume or billboards, but by people helped, families protected, and wrongs made right.
I’m grateful for every mentor, colleague, and client who’s shaped my journey to this moment. And I’m ready for what’s ahead.
If you know someone who’s been injured and needs a lawyer they can trust — especially in the Hispanic and immigrant community — I’d be honored if you sent them my way.
