Restaurant operators have a clear duty to maintain safe conditions for their patrons and address hazardous floor conditions before injuries occur. 🍽️⚠️

Attorney Bill Price secured a $215,000 settlement for a retired but active client who suffered serious injuries after slipping in a restaurant bathroom. Evidence revealed that the same mop used to clean grease in the kitchen had been used on the bathroom floor, leaving behind a dangerously slick surface. After the fall, the client noticed grease covering their hands and questioned the manager, who acknowledged that the issue had been an ongoing problem. Notably, responding EMS personnel overheard the conversation and one of the responders also slipped on the floor. The fall caused catastrophic injuries, including a right hip fracture and a right femur fracture that required surgical repair of the femur. The client ultimately underwent surgery and endured a lengthy recovery period, significantly impacting an active retirement and quality of life.

Bill worked diligently to establish the restaurant’s negligence, secure compensation for medical expenses and other damages, and hold the business accountable for failing to correct a known safety hazard. 💼⚖️
