Partner Mariel Smith and Associates Taylor Roos and Sydney Schorr recently presented to the Columbus, Georgia Inn of Court, leading an engaging program for the judges and practitioners in attendance.

Hosted by Hall Booth Smith’s Columbus office, the presentation focused on practical tips and common pitfalls in trial practice. Using scenes from popular movies to illustrate key points, the team sparked thoughtful discussion and lively interaction throughout the room.

I know Cancer has affected so many of us, but this sure is personal for me. My sweet friend, Chloe, has been diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. We have worked together for many years. She spent years as my paralegal, keeping me on track with my cases, but more importantly anyone at our office will tell you she is always joyful, fun, and has the sweetest spirit. She is a single mom and while raising her sweet boy, she is fighting hard to beat this horrible disease.
