Yesterday, Collins & Kruse team members April Parker and Megan Voigt had the pleasure of presenting “The Realtor’s Role in Complex Family Dynamics & Decision-Making” to the team at REMAX Partners - Ohio!

As Certified Dementia Practitioners (CDP) and Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainers (CADDCT), April and Megan understand the unique challenges families may face when dementia and changing decision-making abilities intersect with a real estate transaction.

They discussed recognizing potential concerns, navigating complicated family dynamics, maintaining professional boundaries, and knowing when to connect a family with legal or care-navigation support.

Veterans Luncheon | Aging Gracefully: Planning for Your Future

We’re proud to have Jackie Collins, elder law attorney and U.S. Army Veteran, joining the Veterans Luncheon at VFW Post 8736 in Sunbury on Monday, September 28 at 12:00 PM.

Once a month, a group of aging-services professionals we’ve coined the Aging Services Strategy Collective comes together to connect, collaborate, share resources, and talk about what we’re seeing across the industry.

This month, we decided to put that collaboration into action!

Together, we collected donations and assembled care bags filled with much-needed supplies for St. Sophia’s Food Pantry program.

Thank you to the Grove City Parks and Recreation and the Evans Center for welcoming us for Empowered Aging: Legal & Healthcare Planning Made Clear!

Attorney Jackie Collins, April Parker and Megan Voigt enjoyed connecting with attendees and sharing practical guidance on planning ahead, navigating aging-related decisions, and understanding the resources available to families.
