The Series LLC lets you segregate assets under one company (with some strict bookkeeping rules to actually keep that protection intact). Probate is basically a lawsuit against yourself after you die.

That's not a joke. It's a court supervised process that freezes all of your assets, pays off your debts, and gives whatever's left to your family. It can take months, sometimes years. And it's public record, so anyone can see what you owned, what you owed, and who inherited what.
