🚨 TODAY: The Supreme Court has sided with the Trump administration in a closely watched immigration case involving green card holders and the government’s authority to begin deportation proceedings based on suspected criminal activity.

In a 6–3 decision, the Supreme Court ruled that green card holders can be stripped of their legal status if they have pending criminal charges when attempting to re-enter the country.

The three liberal judges dissented.

A federal judge has blocked the Trump administration from ending temporary protections that have allowed roughly 350,000 Haitians to live and work in the U.S.

It's estimated that between 12,000 and 15,000 migrants live in the Springfield, Ohio, area. A majority of them are from Haiti.
