Who’s getting excited for WERC Global 26? 👀

This year, WERC is coming to our hometown — and fall is a pretty great time to visit Chicago.

If you’re coming for the conference, add these to your list:

🚶Walk the Riverwalk, especially around golden hour
🏙️ Look up — Chicago’s architecture is half the fun of walking downtown
🌊 Take a walk along the lakefront and remember that yes, that is actually a lake
🍕 Try a Chicago tavern-style pizza (we can save the deep-dish debate for later)
🫘 See The Bean, then keep walking — there’s plenty more to explore in Millennium Park
☕ Need coffee between sessions? Skip Starbucks and walk over to Dollop Coffee or Intelligentsia near Millennium Park

Consider this the start of our unofficial Chicago guide for WERC. We’ll be sharing more of our team’s favorite spots, hidden gems, local tips and things you should know before you arrive.

As intern season starts to wrap up, we’re taking a moment to reflect on why the details matter.

This review is exactly the kind of feedback we love to see because it highlights what we want every intern to experience with Suite Home: a comfortable place to live, a team they can count on, and one less thing to worry about while they’re focused on their internship.

For interns, housing is a huge part of the summer experience, and for the companies managing internship programs, having a reliable housing partner can make the entire process easier.

Planning an internship program? Let us take housing off your plate and give your interns one less thing to worry about.
