• completely hallucinate facts
• miss important legal context
• store your searches and conversations
• and potentially create discoverable records if your case ends up in court

That last part matters more than people realize.

Unlike conversations with your attorney, what you type into AI platforms may not be private. In some situations, legal teams can request access to relevant searches, chats, or stored information during a case.
And AI platforms aren’t representing your best interests or protecting your legal strategy.
