Curcio & Casciato attorney RJ Curcio secured a $417,500 settlement on behalf of individuals injured in a Cook County trucking crash.

The lawsuit alleged that a commercial truck driver carelessly rear-ended the plaintiffs’ vehicle while operating within the scope of his employment. As a result of the collision, the plaintiffs sustained injuries and damages of both an economic and non-economic nature.

Curcio & Casciato attorneys RJ Curcio and Bryan A. Ruggiero secured a $1,500,000 settlement on behalf of the Estate of a Chicago woman killed in a motor vehicle crash.

The lawsuit alleged that the defendant driver intended to place her vehicle in reverse but instead shifted into drive and accelerated forward, striking the pedestrian and causing her death. The settlement is representative of the applicable policy limits. The action was brought under the Illinois Wrongful Death Act on behalf of her surviving spouse.
