👋 Meet the 2025-2026 Illinois JusticeCorps Fellows!

Each AmeriCorps member will be serving in courthouses across the state to provide legal information and guidance to community members navigating the justice system without a lawyer.

Thanks to the support of the Illinois Bar Foundation, The Chicago Bar Foundation, and the Supreme Court Commission on Access to Justice, these Fellows will serve across Illinois courthouses to help make justice more accessible.

Congratulations Justice Neville!

The Supreme Court of Illinois has selected Justice P. Scott Neville, Jr. as the 123rd Chief Justice. He will be the second Black Chief Justice in Illinois history, following the late Justice Charles E. Freeman, who served from 1997 to 1999.

His three-year term begins on October 26, 2025, succeeding Chief Justice Mary Jane Theis, who has led the Court since 2022.

The Association extends its sincere congratulations to Justice Neville. We are honored to have Justice Neville as a member of the ISBA.
