The Illinois Bar Foundation is proud to welcome the 2026-2027 Illinois JusticeCorps cohort. We were honored by Justice Rena Marie Van Tine of the 1st District of the Illinois Appellate court and Judge Jorge L. Ortiz, Chair of the Supreme Court Commission on Access to Justice for welcoming the new class of Fellows and swearing them in as AmeriCorps members.

JusticeCorps members attended the McLean County Bar Association Law Day luncheon in Bloomington, IL today.

They heard a moving keynote address from Charlotte Alvarez, Executive Director to the Immigration Project, about immigration and the rule of law in practice.

Thank you members for your commitment to helping serve your communities and maintaining people's trust in the rule of law as they navigate their civil legal issues.

👋 Meet the 2025-2026 Illinois JusticeCorps Fellows!

Each AmeriCorps member will be serving in courthouses across the state to provide legal information and guidance to community members navigating the justice system without a lawyer.

Thanks to the support of the Illinois Bar Foundation, The Chicago Bar Foundation, and the Supreme Court Commission on Access to Justice, these Fellows will serve across Illinois courthouses to help make justice more accessible.
