An immigration notice from USCIS can feel overwhelming, but an RFE and a NOID are not the same. ⚖️
A Request for Evidence (RFE) means USCIS needs additional information or documentation. A Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) means USCIS has identified concerns and may deny the case unless a persuasive response addresses the specific issues raised.
Whatever notice you received:
• Read every page and follow the stated deadline and delivery instructions.
• Answer the exact issue USCIS identified, don’t send unrelated paperwork.
• Organize exhibits clearly and include complete, properly prepared translations when needed.
• Check that your forms, dates, names, and supporting documents are consistent.
• Keep a complete copy of your response and proof of delivery.
• Never submit rushed, misleading, or fabricated evidence.
Avoid relying on notarios or unqualified helpers who promise guaranteed results. A fact-specific review can help you understand your options and prepare a careful response.
