My friend and business partner, Peter Cote, rode in the PanMass Challenge (PMC) a yearly event which raises thousands of dollars for cancer research. The note tells you more than I ever could. So please donate if you can!

This weekend I ride for a great cause.

I'm writing today for something other than real estate....as many okohĥf you know, I will be riding the Pan Mass Challenge (PMC) 2-day fundraising bike ride for cancer research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute again this year....this weekend actually.

I've been involved with this ride for over 3 decades, raising much needed research money for improving medicine and finding cures for cancer. This 46 year old fundraiser has raised over $1 Billion for cancer research and has resulted in breakthrough advances in cancer treatment. PMC's goal in 2026 is to raise $79 Million.

When I was a kid, if someone had cancer, it was considered a death sentence. Today, that initial diagnoses is no less scary than it was before, but treatments are better now and patients are living longer than before. Every year during the ride, we celebrate a few hundred "Living Proof" active PMC riders who can celebrate life after cancer.

If you would like to donate to my ride, as many of you do (and already have), you can find the information in my attached fundraising letter. You can donate online at:
https://profile.pmc.org/PC0016

or, to avoid the bank fee, you can donate by check payable to: Pan Mass Challenge and can get back in touch with me about getting it from you. Thank you in advance to everyone who donates. Let's make this a great year for the PMC!!

PS: I am happy to say that I have met a few other Coldwell Banker Realty agents who do this ride and that we have others within the company who do this.

Thank You,

Peter Cote, Realtor

The St Crispin's Day speech is a part of William Shakespeare's history play Henry V, Act IV Scene iii(3) 18–67. On the eve of the Battle of Agincourt, which fell on Saint Crispin's Day, Henry V urges his men, who were vastly outnumbered by the French, to imagine the glory and immortality that will be theirs if they are victorious. Following is the actual speech in its entirety.

"This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be rememberèd—
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's Day."
