Hello, June! Every year when Pride Month rolls around we bust out our best rainbow attire and make the most of the celebrations. Boston's Pride Parade and Festival will take place this coming Saturday, June 6. The parade kicks off at 11:00 AM on Clarendon Street and ends on the Boston Common with food trucks, vendors, and live music. Come party with us!

Designed to break a fall in a several-story stairwell, the Rainbow Tornado adds undeniable visual appeal to this modern Washington, DC home. Cedar Architecture and Treenet Collective () worked collaboratively with the homeowners to come up with a solution to their safety concerns that also provides a gorgeous focal centerpiece that we want to climb, strum, and just plain gaze at all day. What a great opportunity to personalize your space! Liz is imagining a rainbow structure of her own in her double-height living room. Especially since her kids are grown and no longer here to toss random items into it. 😉

There is always so much art and culture to be found in Somerville! Last Saturday we enjoyed Somerville Open Studios, especially the studios of artists we know and love. Ellie is lucky enough to have an original work by Sophia Ainslie () on her wall, and Liz enjoys gazing at her two works by David Palmquist ().
