Codjovi was born and educated in the Western New York area. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Canisius College in 2003 where she obtained a double major in Sociology and Urban Studies with a minor in Anthropology and participated in their Raichle pre-law program. 7. Codjovi was admitted to the Bar of the State of New York in February of 2008. She was also admitted to the Federal Court for the Western District of New York in May of 2008, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York in May of 2008, and the United States Virgin Islands (St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix) in November 2010. Prior to her admission to the New York State Bar, Ms. Codjovi served as an intern at the Erie County Child Protective Services as well as the Niagara County District Attorney’s Office. Codjovi work at the offices of Feuerstein & Smith, LLP from 2005 through 2013, first as a law clerk during law school, then as an associate. Codjovi founded The Codjovi Law Firm in 2013 where she is engage in general practice with a focus primarily on matrimonial and family law. Since admission to the Bar, Ms. Codjovi has practiced law throughout the State of New York handles all aspects of Domestic Relations cases. Codjovi also is designated in the 4th Department’s Attorney for the Child panel and regularly serves as an attorney for the child in both Family and Supreme Court matters in Erie and Niagara Counties. Codjovi is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Erie County, a member of the Matrimonial Family Law Committee, a member of the Practice and Procedure of Family Courts Committee, a member of the Women’s Bar Association, and the United States Virgin Islands Bar Association.
