This is the new commercial that was run on the high school jumbotron and during the streaming of the game Friday. I do love dogs.

Strength wins. And not just physical strength. Strength of conviction. Strength of character.

BHS is undefeated since this sign went up. Just sayin.

Someone stole control of this page for a couple days, but I have wrestled back control. So, if SLG sent you a message saying to kiss our behind or something, it wasn't us. Now, whether I want you to kiss our behind or not...that's a separate issue. Give me a holler if we need to resolve that.

A local nurse practitioner (not a physician), running a "dermatology" clinic, includes in his intake forms a document titled "Resume of Contract." This insufferable and misleading title is a WAIVER OF ANY CLAIM FOR MEDICAL MALPRACTICE he might commit. It follows that if you file such a claim, your expert must be from the same medical club as him. DO NOT SIGN THIS FORM. In fact, think twice about seeing a medical care provider with the audacity to have you sign a form saying you cannot make a claim if he fails to diagnose your melanoma, fails to communicate biopsy results, unreasonably delays a squamous cell carcinoma diagnosis, you get burned or blinded from the numerous possible laser applications, or he gives you a medicine that terminates your pregnancy (these are reported mistakes by dermatologists). I have never in my life seen such a form. Yeah, once I saw there was no MD on staff and then hit this page, I walked out. NP's are very valuable providers but they must have physician oversight. NP's graduate with 1500 clinic hours in training. MDs graduate with 15,000 clinic hours in training. Do you research.

GUN SAFETY: I've taken several gun safety courses and I have an advanced conceal permit. Not because I want to conceal, but because the training provided is essential to safety. I believe this course should be a prerequisite to gun ownership, but that ain't happening. William "Ray" Ables is a fabulous instructor. Please consider signing up for this course if you own a handgun. (Note: Scott and Sharon Womack also teach courses, I believe, and Lord knows they know guns)
