One of my favorite events in Rankin County is the Covered concert in Pearl. I had a great time on Wednesday night visiting with everyone and watching all the music fans rocking out to Eagles songs

The concert benefited Southern Christian Services, and it was a wonderful turnout. The band and volunteers work so hard to put this on, and it does not go unnoticed. Thanks to Gary Watts and those who makes it happen.

70 days, y'all! Here's the deal: I've spent 13 years inside Mississippi's Circuit Courts, so I already know what steady, fair, and prepared looks like on the bench, because I've been doing the prep work the whole time.

Now I'm just asking Madison and Rankin Counties to make it official this November.

‼️ Absentee voting opens soon in Mississippi, forty-five days out from November 3.

This applies to:

☑️ Students (college, high school) whose studies require them to be away on election day
☑️ Anyone traveling away from their home county on election day
☑️ Ages 65+
☑️ Temporary or permanent physical disability
☑️ Hospitalized outside their county or 50+ miles from home
☑️ Military, Merchant Marine, American Red Cross members and their spouses/dependents

If you can't make it to the polls on Election Day, first, make sure you're registered to vote. Then, vote absentee.

Call your Circuit Clerk's office in Madison or Rankin County if you have questions or need support.

Celebrating National Waffle Day with my boys was a hit. Hash browns scattered and smothered, everybody talking over everybody.
