Referrals from other trusted professionals always mean a lot. It is always a privilege to help like-minded colleagues and their clients however I can, and, appreciative that I could assist here with their pre-nuptial agreement leading up to their wedding.

I'm excited to share that I've joined the Advisory Board of DivorceLawyer.com. As the legal profession evolves, DivorceLawyer.com is building an innovative platform that thoughtfully integrates technology and artificial intelligence to help individuals and families better understand their options and connect with trusted family law professionals.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Devon Rifkin and the team as they continue building something special.

Family law is about more than statutes and courtrooms. It's about people, relationships, and helping clients make informed decisions during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

That philosophy has guided my practice daily since founding Emmer Law. I believe every family is different, every case is unique, and the best decisions begin with understanding your options.

It's a privilege to help clients navigate some of life's most difficult transitions, and I'm grateful for the trust they place in me every day.

Every week, I spend a lot of time talking about parenting time. Every other weekend. Holidays. Summer vacation. Those details are important.

But what matters even more is what parents do with that time. Too often, in the divorce process, the logistics and negotiations around co-parenting become transactional and clinical - at their core, it is about consistent, quality time with your children.

One of the nicest compliments a lawyer can receive isn’t simply “thank you”— it’s when a client says they would confidently refer a friend or family member.

I’m grateful for the trust my clients place in me, and, never take it for granted.

Five years ago tonight, I took a leap and started Emmer Law. Looking back, I'm incredibly grateful for every client who trusted me and every colleague and referral source who supported me. Five years later, I'm more convinced than ever that every family is different, every case is unique, and the best decisions begin with understanding ones options. Thank you for being part of these first five years - I am humbly grateful.
