New driver in the house? Check your policy before they get behind the wheel. 🚗
Some insurance companies will ask you to exclude a household member from your policy, even one who’s only a few years away from driving. If that person is still excluded when they start driving your vehicle, it can be as if that vehicle has no insurance at all.
So review your policy, especially if something has changed: a teen with a new license, someone moving in, or another driver in the home. Read the exclusions and the language closely.
Not sure what your policy says? The Lucky Law Firm would be happy to go over it with you! It’s much better to find out now than to deal with it after the fact.
