Marionneaux Law Firm Making a Difference, One Case at a Time!

10/16/2026

$1,050,000.00 — Motor Vehicle Collision — Avoyelles Parish.

Settled one week before trial.

That timing is no coincidence. For more than 30 years, Robert M. Marionneaux, Jr. has prepared every case as if a jury will decide it — and when trial day gets close, cases like this one get resolved for full value.

If you or a loved one has been seriously injured, we're ready to go to work.

Today we’re celebrating the man who built this firm.

Happy birthday to our founder, Rob Marionneaux, Jr. For more than thirty years, he has stood in courtrooms across Louisiana for families on the hardest days of their lives — and for those of us fortunate enough to practice alongside him, he’s been something more: a teacher, a mentor, and the standard we measure ourselves against every single day.

Happy birthday, Rob — from all of us at Marionneaux Law Firm

Twenty-five years ago this morning, nearly 3,000 people went to work, boarded planes, or answered a call for help and never came home. We remember them. We remember the firefighters and police officers who climbed toward danger, the ordinary people who became extraordinary, and the families for whom this day has never been history.

Never forget.

Friday evening the Grosse Tete–Rosedale Fire Department managed to surprise a man who is very hard to surprise. Chief Danny “Duck” Gantt walked in expecting an ordinary night and walked into a room full of the people he has spent half a century showing up for.

Fifty-plus years. Fires, wrecks, floods, storms, and every call in between — most of them in the middle of the night, none of them for the recognition. He built a department, trained the people who will carry it, and never made it about himself.

Our firm has the privilege of serving as counsel to the Village of Grosse Tete, and we were honored to be included.

Thank you, Chief. Enjoy every bit of it. The department is in good hands because of you.
