The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation (JPML) formally centralized all federal lawsuits against Roblox Corporation into a new multidistrict litigation (MDL).

The MDL is entitled In re: Roblox Corporation Child Sexual Exploitation and Assault Litigation, MDL No. 3166.

Cases are now pending before Judge Richard Seeborg in the Northern District of California.

MDLs make up the majority of the federal civil docket. It consolidates all cases before a single judge in a single court due to overlapping legal and factual issues.

Science Day for the Hair Relaxer litigation was January 8, 2026. This is a key procedural event in the litigation.
