Oops… calling myself out today 🤦🏻‍♀️

I had a meeting this morning at Create & Cultivate with another founder, and she told me she was waiting to meet Erin…

Hi! Hello! That’s me! 😂🤪

My hair is up today, which I rarely do, and the headshot I submitted for the event has my hair down.

And of course, as the personal brand strategist, this immediately had me thinking about my own personal brand photos. 😬

We put SO much thought into getting the perfect headshot… but it’s also worth thinking about whether the photos you’re using actually represent how people experience you in real life.

Your brand photos should be polished and elevated, but they should still look and feel like YOU.

Think about the way you normally wear your hair, your makeup, and your clothing, along with how you might show up differently for a speaking event versus a networking event. Having a variety of photos that capture those different sides of you can make your personal brand feel that much more recognizable and cohesive.

Butttt apparently I also need to add a hair-up look to my next brand shoot. 😂
