Why it is so important to make a complaint if you feel like you have been harassed or discriminated against at work. Reporting it provides an extra layer of protection for you.
Founded by Daniel B. You work more than 40 hours a week and don't get overtime pay. You have been retaliated against for belonging to a protected class.

Dan Ross started his law firm in 1998 with the goal of helping people. He says, “It’s important to me to provide relief to my clients. Before I went to law school, I was in a serious business dispute. I went to see a lawyer. I remember walking into his office feeling helpless and worried. The lawyer offered his help and suggested several solutions, but what I remember most was the feeling of relief I had after meeting with him. It was as if a huge burden had been lifted from my shoulders. I want to do the same thing for my clients that that lawyer did for me.”
Mr. Ross is well known in the legal community for his tenacious, effective representation and his skill in negotiating the resolution of disputed matters. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a believer in community service and education, and serves as Chair of the Advisory Committee to the Institute on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin). He’s appeared on television and in print media to discuss legal issues.
Over the years the firm has grown and now has several attorneys and support staff. We represent people in employment law matters, overtime and wage claims, and injury cases.
Charles Scalise joined the firm in 2008, and became a Shareholder in 2018. He has handled employment law cases involving the ADA, ADEA, Title VII, the Equal Pay Act, FLMA, Florida's Civil Rights Act, FLSA, Florida's Whistleblower Act and other federal civil rights laws, and has presented lectures on topics and issues involving the FLSA to legal and business organizations. Mr. Scalise now focuses his practice on overtime and wage claims.
